Hello KHS Students and Families,
Welcome to the 2024-25 school year. We are excited to have students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with positive energy and enthusiasm for learning. We aim to help every student feel welcome, safe, connected, and part of the Bulldog Family, because “Once a Bulldog, Always a Bulldog”.
At Kingman High School, we offer a variety of programs to meet every student’s interest, academic level, and future story. On top of the traditional Math, Science, English, and History courses we offer a variety of CTE (Career and Technical Education) courses. Those courses include Culinary, Business Management, Welding, Agri-Science, Early Childhood, Graphic Design, Cabinetmaking, Sports Medicine, Nursing Technologies, and Stagecraft. We also offer the following electives – Spanish, Drama, Drivers Ed, Guitar, Band, and PE/Weights. For our students looking for a more rigorous and academically challenging experience, we have the Cambridge Program. The Cambridge program is internationally recognized and uses a curriculum developed by the University of Cambridge. We believe all students should graduate prepared for the demands of postsecondary education, meaningful careers, and effective citizenship.
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, please keep in mind the important details/dates below:
• Registration/Yearly Update – All new and current students must complete online registration/yearly update via the KUSD Website: https://www.kusd.org/page/registration-enrollment
• Registration/Yearly Update Café – July 11th, 9am – 2pm in the KHS Small Gym. This event is for all students needing assistance with registration but is not required.
• First Day of School – July 17th – All students will receive paper copies of their class schedule on the first day of school. Class schedules will also be available via ParentVue/StudentVue once online registration/yearly update is complete.
• Freshman Connections – July 17th and 18th from 8am – 10:45am. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors will start at 11am. Buses will run a second time to accommodate for the 3-hour delay.
