Principal's Message

It is with great pride and pleasure that I welcome everyone to Kingman High School for the 2013-14 school year. We are eager to do whatever it takes to help maximize your student’s academic achievement. Our first step toward ensuring your student’s success is to provide them with a safe and secure campus, connect them to a relevant and rigorous curriculum, and engage them with a productive activity and athletic experience.
Student success takes a total team effort, a commitment to your student’s present success, and future goals and aspirations.  We have some of the finest educators around that are ready, willing and able to guide your student to graduation and toward becoming a responsible, productive member of our 
We seek to prepare all students for post-secondary opportunities and work tirelessly to provide them with the tools needed for continued success.  Proper dress code, punctuality, effort, good attendance and a positive attitude are key  ingredients for student success.  Everyone’s support in these areas will 
greatly  assist us to help students.

Spirit Week is Coming! April 29 - May 2
Spirit week is coming up! It starts Tuesday, April 29th, with “Keep It Classy!” Wednesday the 30th is Decade Day, Thursday is Color Your Class – Freshman wear blue; Sophomores wear white, juniors wear yellow, and seniors wear all of the above.
Ending Friday, the final day of spirit week before prom, is Rep Your Team. Team hats permitted only on Friday. For approved spirit week attire, read pages 39-40 in the student handbook.
Graduation Ceremony Speeches
Class of 2014, this is our time. We welcome all seniors to audition for speaking parts in the graduation ceremony. To be a part of these auditions pick up a form in Jackson’s room D120 and return the form and your speech by May 2nd.
Important Prom Information
If you are planning to attend prom, you must have all of your disciplines and detentions taken care of before you can attend. If you need to check on your disciplines and detentions, please see Mrs. VanHoose in the discipline office ASAP! Don’t wait until the last minute, do it today!
Friday April 25th is the last day to turn in your prom guest application forms to the athletics office for approval. Don’t wait until the last minute, plan ahead. Don’t be disappointed when that someone special hasn’t been approved to come to the prom.
